CRITERIA FOR EVALUATING PROPOSALS

Proposals will be evaluated based on:

• the size of the booth per publisher-exhibitor (each publisher-exhibitor is entitled to two events per 9 sq.m. of booth, with a maximum of 12 events)
• the length of the publisher-exhibitor’s participation in the Thessaloniki International Book Fair (TIBF)
• the relevance of the proposed events to the thematic axes of this year’s edition

In addition, events that are the result of a collaboration between two or more publishers-exhibitors will not count towards the number of events each publisher-exhibitor is entitled to.

It should be noted that each publishing house with multiple imprints is entitled to participate in TIBF (booth) and in the General Program events for one imprint only (i.e., the publishing house plus one imprint).

For publishers holding separate booths at the 22nd TBF, both in the general exhibition area (adults) and in the Children–Youth Corner, the number of events they are entitled to will be calculated separately for each booth and not cumulatively (always based on the booth’s square meters).

Events taking place inside the publisher-exhibitor’s booth and/or in other venues outside the Fair are not subject to the above limitations, but should be reported in the corresponding form for more complete collection of information by the organizing body and for dissemination to the TBF audience.

We kindly ask that all terms and deadlines are respected, so that the printed and electronic program of the Fair can be prepared on time, and together we can create an attractive and multifaceted program that, centered on the book, reflects the spirit of the times.
